Doesn't sound like you ran it hard enough if the engine was still in it.

loved the old red seats .
That's the same boat. It was Doc Lagorrie (sp) There was only one ever built to my knowledge. Mickolose always played with him and even let him lead a few laps and then passed him every time on the last couple laps.

For what its worth, I am very happy with my acquisition of the 27 and had a ball doing the complete re-rig on it, once I install the required Data Logger, I will have concrete numbers to work with and will go from there and continue to test and test and test. Once I have a throttleman testing with me, I am pretty sure I can drive through the mishandle( I hope and every stepped boat I have ever ran had a wall to drive through) Do I expect to compete with the new technology of the 30 Rage, the OL, the Fountains? ummmm ya never know, "on any given sunday" maybe the sun will shine on this dogs ass lol

I only brought it up to Glad of the current numbers as I am sure the new 30 Rage will far exceed the expectations of my 27. I've raced a 27 open Activator a few times in the past and had a blast running up in front or right there in contention every race.

Lets get this thread back to the 30 and hopefully the boat will be back on the course sooner than later, I definitely am looking forward to it. I mean come on, the 27 is what it is, all I can guarantee is that I will have a blast with her

I'm with you!! My 32 #4 was A state of art build. I hope I find the time to go over the pond and visit Mark and RAGE Powerboats in A near future. I planed to do it last year but some family things stopped it.
