It is a 30. I know the boat (no the driver), and it was at Manhasset Bay Marina last year.
Long single engine boat, w/ no weight up in the bow does not steer well at all, and any wind will blow the bow like a sail.
He did need to goose the throttle a bit, but probably was nervous in the tighter quarters.
He really just needed a hand pushing off.

I hear you and I shouldn't have said what I did in my post but really was joking. The boat is nice and sounded good as well. We all had to start at the beginning at some point and things did not go smooth for any of us. Sometimes it still doesn't trying to handle these boats perfectly everytime out.
Some help from the passenger would have help him out to get rolling better. That's it and lucky him for having a 30 Activator as most of us know they do not come cheap in price either. What year is the boat and what power & drive set up ?
