its nice to hear that, its an indication on how the manufactuer handles there customers, setting up a outboard version is compleately different than a I/O, not having any pior data to compare can be a tedious process......How much set back did you use? what size props?, did you try running them in and out? , and are the 300's 20" or 25"?
We tried many props. The only one that had good speed and planning ability was the new Bravo 1 Outboard style prop with vent holes. We have the biggest one they make...29". 2 of the 4 vent holes are plugged. Without the vented props it was hard to plane the boat depending on how high/low the motors were on the bracket. We turn the props out. I asked Mark about this early on and he said they were only going to try turning them out. I assume that had to do with prior experience on the 27 OB's.
Lastly, I think these are 20" shaft motors.
Almost positive it is 1.62

I believe it is something like a 10-12" Stainless Marine bracket.

It is great seeing manufacturers build new boats for the SV class, the Class is growing steady and thanks to companies like Activator that push the technology to the next level. We have seen Extreme, Fountain, Phantom, Bandit, and now Activator all design and build new boats.
With all these new factory SVL over the past few years,,, some of the older boats may be "slowly retired" ,,,,or become "vintage/classic"
This is appears to be a wonderful new technology, in very experienced hands, the outcome should be amazing.
