You may need a 27 to get to the 5450 rev limiter. I don't know how the numbers work but that's got to have very, very low slip. How deep below the bottom is the sweat spot?

Those are great numbers mark for the first time out of the box, with the new motor better props and at Race weight you will be right in the mix at 95 96 miles an hour

The boat likes 1/2 in below, it seems the deeper v gets more water to the prop. I saw that speed at race weight.

Wow that's impressive. Im shocked the 29 only spun 5100 RPM and you were able to hit 92 MPH. Did you try the 28 to raise the RPM for possibly more speed and better acceleration? Do you know what the slip number is with your data? I cant tell you how much I am enjoying this build.

Hey Randy, the 29 was a 30 turned down to 29 and was borrowed.I had to return it to soon to try it at different heights. The 28 I bought from hydromotive was terrible, so I sent it to BBlades and have yet to try it.

With the notch in the transom of the fountain seem to run best at an inch to an inch and a quarter below the bottom

That makes more sense then. It may have been banged up to a 31 also LOL. The fun and expense of finding the holly grail prop !!!! And when you do you can never duplicate it for some reason.
