under 30 deep vee hulls are great wave crushers
this boat from start has been great to see the building process now to testing/dialing in
with all the positive looks, build, rigging ,,,,love for it to stay on track even if has negatives also
as nothing human or built is 100% positive at all levels
I have a Excalibur 27,,, what the original activator was made from
'know this 30 is different in so many levels
but still light with lots of power
the speeds u have accomplished 1st few times out is over the top
my boat for instance will run 60-90 through so much slop that a lot of 32+ boats back off
when I go in calmer waters and push it it has its speed limit
the transom gets real slippery at 6' wide and 24deg and lower strake out the rear 3" from the bottom
if hit something ,,,ok,,,but if rear let loose at that speed 120+ its understandable not a fault of the hull
as in race conditions them speeds will not exhist
glad all is good,,,,,boat checked out and ready for more results
