New 33

Pat, my wife and I are coming to the Miami show. Will you be displaying and if so where. If not could we make arrangements to visit the factory on Tues afternoon or Wednesday, or Saturday? We are very intrested in the new 33 and hope you might have one available to look at. Also will the 37 be @ Hideaway for a compa rison look? Just PM or answer this thread so we can make plans. Thank You, Joe Murray

Joe,

Good evening. Yes, we will have the new 33 in rigging.

The new 37 is at Randy's store, FastBoats.com, just across the street.

I look forward to showing them both to you.

Thanks, Pat

There's a very good posibility we'll be there. My finance grew up an hour away in Roanoke Rapids, NC and she really wants to us to go down. I'll be in Miami for the show. Let's hook up at the Clevelender.

I am not speaking for Pat, but does not really do any of the shows. When I was looking for my boat I went to the Miami show but stopped in to the AT factory on the way there.

I think in the 5 years I have know him he only has done one show. He usually has a few boats at the factory that you can check out. He is not that far from Miami and you can go to the factory, see the shop and see the boats in various stages of rigging.

Well, I am going to have a definite agenda this year so I will let you know.

I'm taking the kids skiing the week before and my daughter has a big cheerleading competition that weekend so the wife will be gone. I'm staying home for the show.

By the way, I didn't forget to call you back, just working on the hatch lift info.

Rattle my cage tomorrow!

Blane, you asked if the boat (33) would be viewable at the Miami show time. I said yes.

Never did I mean to imply I would be at the show with a presentation. However I will have all of my time available for anybody truly interested in the boats at my factory.

None the less I did say I would supply tickets and I can mail those to you even if you have changed your mind about stopping by to see me.

I'm not big on shows. As a past consumer I prefer to see what goes on behind the lines. I hope this meets your criteria as well.

Call me tomorrow if you have time. Thanks, Pat

Not a problem Pat, and I am not concerned with where the confusion came in, I just need to plan my time out there and wanted to see the boat. I am staying in South Beach I think, so how far away is your shop and if you give me an address, I can do a mapquest? Is Friday morning the 20th going to work for a visit ??

Don't know of anyone using that motor. The power/cost ratio doesn't warrant the price tag for the 6's.

I'll stay with the so called "Mild" power and run 90's with 525's and all I'll have to do is turn the key and go!

Thanks Brian. Any recommondations on where to stay and where I might keep the boat for a week there would be appreciated as well.

Re: New 33

Depending on where you want to keep the boat; I live about 40 minutes from Jordan Point, and I should have my land cleared by then. You can keep it at my place. Also, Jordan Point does have a fenced/locked storage lot, and they may be able to keep it as well. There are no hotels really close, but about 10-15 minutes away, back toward I-295, there are a few express/business hotels. Most of us stay on our boats on Friday night, in the water at Jordan Point.

Thank you. Depending on what plans we make, I'll take you up on your offer. No ice on the boat, prefer to stay in a motel.

Steve are you going to use SmartCraft guauges or Smartcraft Race view monitor? We are doing a twin 496Ho repower right now and will be using Merc's new digital K-planes,SmartCraft transom plates and Smartcraft race system view.Pretty cool stuff.

Pete, we looked into using SmartCraft gauges through Livorsi but it's limited to Monster Speedo and Monster Tach and regular size gauges. Thought I'd stay with the classic looking monster gauge dash.

marinetrans 01-12-2006 08:50 PM

Re: New 33

Merc has some cool comos for Smartcraft. You can use the regular guages, then use a system monitor to view engine information from the PCM555.You'll need 2 harness for each motor, one for the analog guages, one for the Smartcraft monitor.
