Thank you

It was great to meet all of you that stopped by our in-water display.

To my current owner's, thanks again for stopping in and promoting the boats to the audiences.

Looking forward to next year already!

Pat

Pat, it was great to catch up. The new boat looks great, and the 33 should be mind-blowing. Thanks for the ride, and I sent you an email.

Pat, thanks for the demo. I saw the 33 @ your shop on Friday and was very impressed. I will send you an e-mail in the next few days to discuss a new 33. Joe Murray

Thanks again Pat for taking the time to go through all the small details with me to make sure everything is perfect. I have no doubt this boat will be the envy of all when complete.

Looking forward to maybe running side by side with you Dan.

Sorry about the last minute change in plans. I was really hoping you could have ridden the DDC hull. I guess there's always next year.

I was really hoping we could make it, but it's very doubtful now. Maybe we could get the Richmond AT guys up to New England instead?

Blane,

Please e-mail me your address and I will get that check out Monday morning.

My wife, the short blond at the factory, said you never gave her the ticket for reimbursment. My sincerest apologies.

Pat

Pat

I did not see your wife, only Steve. It was not my main priority to make the trek to the shop to get my $28 admission price refunded. Don't sweat it, just figure out how to get me a new 33' next year with twin Merc 700's for 5% over cost !! :D

Could be too much, but I will let Pat tell me that, maybe scale back to twin Ilmors :D

Actually, twin Merc 700's in that 37' would probably be the right ticket :drink:

Not a big deal. Thunderdan and Jassman opted for KE 675s in their 2002 and 2003 37ATs (Thunderstorm and Radio Active) a couple years ago. It involved some readjusting of the rear hatch (tall blower motors) and some more advanced dialing-in (obvious with bigger than stock Merc power). It took 'some' of Pat's own time to get the boats dialed in perfectly, but I do know that both of the ran/run like raped apes. Both were consistant 95+ mph performers with stints at triple digits.

Keep an eye out for Docmanrich37 posting his results in the coming weeks. He is crossing the Ts and dotting the Is on his Whipple install on twin 525EFIs as we speak. 700+HP each? :D :D

Dan and I both had the KE 675s. Dan had the XR's and I had the 4k upgrade to the IMCO SC's. I also had a diesel generator, and a little more paint  :D so a little heavier. Dan's (asswipe) was slightly quicker. Pat set the boat up for top end so getting out of the hole was a PITA, we did top out on the way back from the keys with three of us and a little under a 1/2 tank @ 98.4 mph and ran out of room before we went under the Miami bridge off plane. I then played with spacers I believe an 1-1/2" and topped out somewhere around 95-96 on the GPS. Much better and user friendly. DOCMANRICH37 good luck, should be a screamer, at least thats what she said :drink:

I've done alot of runs and that particluar sprint is still etched in my brain. Everything was running perfect and felt really hooked.

1000' more feet and you would have easily hit the century mark. That was a awesome day and a great poker run, one that Sandy and I always remembered. The first run was also good, remember that 1 person hang glider type of plane swooping down trying to play cat and mouse 1/2 the way home, and came within 20' or so. Oh ya, remember when on the first run back from the keys with the TMP boys we were running against a triple 900 41 or 47 Apache and we were just pulling away. Oh ya, remember on the way back when you were running real hard against that 38 Donzi with 575's, smokin it's doors, and I was in the back seat with the girls :evilb: trying to keep them company, never mind, it's best you don't know about that. :drink:

Re: Thank you

The boat ran excellent, it was just that we threw it in there at the end of the project. Pat was very accomadating and did a great job with the install and the boat ran awesome. It did take considerable amount of time to dial it in...the motors that is..between fuel issues, computer remapping etc it was a pain for Pat ...The boat did run 103 at Lake X... :D

Jeff is right about one thing...mine was faster...and I am talking about the boat.. :evilb:

.I meant that it was stock power for me and not that i regretted doing custom power, I am looking forward to my sunpad and my mercs. We are going with the ITS system though and I am anxious to see how that runs...
