The only 37 you find for that price is the 99 on the OSO classifieds. The guy is freshening up the engines as we speak. It is the first AVH ever built. If you want a non AVH there are a few around as well as mentioned above.

Good luck and stand in line

The first.....it shows. I went to look at that boat. Although the new stuff looks great and I want a 37AVH too, seems this one was a test run and they hadn't figured out what they were doing yet. Needs upholstry, interior is really "cheap" looking and the bottom has taken a beating.
Guy told me he was going to re-fresh the motors and the drives were 1.36 ratio.

It is a great project boat. A friend originally built and owned the boat. It rode better than any one I have been in, but it did have a slight lean to the right while running. I would buy it for a lot less than he is asking and send it back to Pat. The guy that owns it now is a nice guy.

I wasn't knocking the guy, he was fine. The boat just needs some work. Seems you know more about it than I do (I didn't even take it for a ride), make an offer/go get it!

I thought about it, but the numbers I am thinking he would not entertain. It needs about 20-30K with of refurbish plus I would install new power. Those 500HP’s have about 1200 hours probably by now. I am looking for a later model 03-06 with Merc Factory Power. I like the 04 that was just listed in the classifieds but I can not live with the custom power. It is nothing but a headache and it kills re-sale value.

I totally agree. The paint on the boat is fine, but it needs alot of overall attention. $20-30K sounds about right to me ($109K after being fixed up is more like it). And I would want the motors as is...reduce the price and let me deal with building them the way I want.

Russ and Clark, I think you guys might be talking about different 1999 37s.

Russ looked at the one up here in Maryland.

The one in KY was the one formerly in TX right?

Brian...The one in Maryland is the first AVH and it was a Texas boat originally and then Pat told me some guy named "Uncle Bob" or something owned it in FL for a while.

The bottom must be redone---It doesn’t ride level. Pat told me that he could fix it. Might as well blueprint it while you are at it. I think that boat is also built with wood.
