He gave me an article from hotboat mag from 96 on the 25

this boat sounds just like the test boat,502efi 385hp

boat has gil exhaust, mds box, reprogrammed ecm, says its got about 415HP now

mag says the boat was propped w 23" mirage 3 blade

seemed like it handle the 4 blade nicely but first time w/that much hp at the stick

4 blade should give you more stern lift. you need to talk to R-addction he's got a 25 and has been playing with it for a few years, I think he has a 502 also. Him or Gordo who used to race a 25 and did quite well with it.

If you're running a 502efi with around 415hp, then I would suggest a 24p Bravo 4 blade, or possibly a 26p Bravo 4blade if you plan to have it lab finished. Your best top speed and overall performance will probably be with the Bravo-4 blade, BUT you might want to try a 22p or 24p Hydromotive Q-IV 4blade if you spend a lot of time in really rough or sloppy waters. .
Also, "IF" it has external hydraulic steering, then you might gain 2-3 mph with an IMCO 2" shortie lower.
Just athought.

Welcome to the Elite Fleet Camp. Best of luck with your new boat. You're gonna LOVE it !! Let me know when you're ready to do some "tweaking" I'll help if I can.

Cosmic, Tell me the details of yours and what you're running...

I may be wrong but the 502 efi motor was 415 HP from the factory, so if it has exhaust and other stuff it may have alittle more HP than you you think. I have been thinking about this and what you posted and thought something was wrong there. just my 2cts
