AT 28 Questions
 

Not looking to buy right now but the 28 AT will definitely be on my short list if/when I move up.

What will a 28 run with a stock HP500? And what's the story on this boat:

Wasn't this boat for sale for about $60k a few months ago? That seems like a great price!

I don't have any info on that boat, but its a steal at that price. Call the factory and ping Pat, Jay, or Frank on some speed numbers. Pat will know off the top of his head on the speeds.

I thought it was a great price too. I hate to bother anyone at the factory when I'm not looking to buy right now. I plan on keeping the Pantera for at least a couple years. :D

I figured with the weight of the boat it should run about 72 with a HP500 in some chop with a light load. Just a guess.

no I haven;t seen it but talked to him a couple of times and it was nothing I wanted anything to do with. so I got a new one.

Im in Alex till thursday, if I do come back up it would be without my boat, usually I go to Biggus and Audiofn's in Maine for Labor day

funny I saw your AT Cosmic at the Pirates run and completely forgot to come look at it. I'm docked at the Fisherman's wharf on the east side of Alex. maybe I will stick around till Friday

tell Sydways that, no actually I drove a Cig with the Konrads and it was great, Biggus "Kurt" is a company rep it was his boat I drove, I bet one of those would last

I was out in Boatfreak28's 28 AT and all I can say is wow. That boat is a kick a$$ true 28' offshore boat. I have owned 2 28' V's and the AT shames both boats in the rough what. The fit and finish is excellent and the free board is second to none when in the drives seat the sides of the hull come up to the middle of my chest. Talk about a secure feeling. The boat is layed out excellent. The only down fall is you need to decent HP to make the boat run fairly fast. Here is a pic of the boat on Lake Michigan. Mike I hope you don't mind me posting it.

I was told you need a blue motor to make a 28 go. But Blue = more insurance $$ Thats why I didn't buy 1 when I was lookin at 28 singles

spent all day down arcoss from Clayton on a small cove with about 20 other boats. hung out at Rum runners too. I did see a 28 with twins
I was down by the town dock all night thursday, what ya do stay in your slip :D

no I was out all day friday and 1/2 day sat. friday went all the way to the lake and back. Floated around at clayton and watched some of the oldies run. My boat is not a twin. single 525 ITS XR :cool:

I left friday at 8:30am needed to get back to the office. I fowarded my office calls to my cell and used a headset to work on the 3 hour tow home.
I wish I had a slip up there or lift.

I think it is a 01, but I am not sure. The boat has a 496 HO with CMI headers.
