Default actual weight of 37 with fuel

Has anyone taken thier boat to the weigh station to determine actual weight. I think my last AT was 12,400 w/o trailer, but that boat had the complete liner etc.

If you have what year is it and options?

Pat any estimate what my boat weighs with fuel?

I think Docmanrich37 weighed his 2004 once on an aluminum Myco, with fuel and 240 cases of Corona, it was right around 12,700 lbs. I could be wrong. I will ask the specifics this weekend. 525s, AC, full cabin, electric head.

I am pretty sure mine is less than 12,500 lbs, on an aluminum Nextrail type trailer, full of fuel; but I have never weighed it. Todd did in the past though.

12,400 Dan? No way. The boat is what, 9500 lbs. dry? 180 gallons at 6 lbs./gallon adds up to 10,580 lbs.

I don't see where you can get an additional 1850 lbs. The generator and diesel tank on your last boat did not add that much, maybe a couple hundred pounds. Was the old deck heavier?

I think I was mistaken and that it was with the trailer.. What does a aluminum and steel trailer weigh?

Dan, if I remember correctly. Radio Active on the steel Myco was around 12900. Boat was 10800 and Myco 2100. I just cant remember how much fuel was in there. JJ

Was that full of fuel? I have been wanting to know real world figures of the weight on a trailer. What options were on your boat? Also has/does anyone pull their 37 with a single rear wheel 2500 diesel pick up truck?

I pulled Radio Active with a 2500 Ford and GMC. No problems either truck, neither at the time were chipped. The Ford towed it better, more HD, but the GMC rode better not towing. Towed from MS to Miami FL a few times. Both great trucks. Jeff

That was single rear wheels? Any problems pulling out of water at ramp? Thanks

That was with 3/4 fuel on a 2500hd with the juice but never went any higher than 2 on it because was not needed at all.The boat has every option except gen so wasn't missing anything at all since cooler was full of coronas.

(Sydwayz posting from Rich's computer)

I used to pull my 37AT with a 2500 Avalanche/8.1L 496. I now have a Ford PSD F-350 dually. The Avalanche towed adequately, but the dually is much more comfortable.

You can EASILY pull a 37AT with a full load on an aluminum trailer with a single rear wheel truck. I would advise going to at least an 8 inch wide wheel, and make sure you have 3000+ lb rated wheels and 3000 lb rated tires (E-Load Range). The longer the wheel base, the better. So long bed and crew cab helps. Rich has a Chevy 2500 shortbed-crew cab. My dually is a long bed-crew cab. While a single rear wheel vehicle is more convenient, there is NO comparison to towing with a dually.
