i never said there was anything wrong with your motors or your boat .every one has there own feelings about different boats. the more i thought about it i really wanted a 37 a.t. or the 38 sonic.that was only a couple years used there both great boats and yes the A.T. is faster with the same power put it also has a pad and a step ,.
as far as speed goes i live in south Florida and down here is where the high rollers play so there will always be someone faster that is something i'm not worried about.
good luck to every one that's on the water

mike, thats great to hear.
from the sale of the 28, it sounded like there were some problems and you wouldn't be back in boating so soon.
Well, you're better off than i am.

Mike, You Really Dont Make A Lot Of Friends By Talking Trash About Their Boats. If You're Insinuating That The Boat, you Almost Purchased, Had Motor Problems...you Are Absolutely Mistaken!!!! Before You Make Comments About Any Boats, You Should Take The Time To Physically Go And Inspect/evaluate That Boat.

From: west palm beach FL,
DRG im not bashing anyones boat nore did i say anything about the inconsistency's on any boat i was looking at .i did not want to buy a 7 year old boat with 8 year old motors that where taken out of another boat that had Ben rebuilt to different spec's and by most mechanics where pushed to there limits .before having to buy a new block .so now you have it .
if only people didn't feel so guilty they would not have a problem with what i had written . i looked at a lot of different boats and i never said witch boat had any problems.
they may run fine now but are going to need some help in the near future. i did not want that headache so i bought something that was only a couple of years old and had stock merc power with low hour's and that have not ben rebuilt yet by who know's who .if you want me to go into greater detail on what i found out on each boat i looked at just ask me and i will post it . i have nothing to hide but the truth on how i feel about any particular product .weather its a boat with 400 hours that will need a total rebuild on motors and drives or a boat with different size bore in the motors this is all public knowledge and everyone will have different feelings toward what they want to buy .
by the way i hate to have to defend myself for my thoughts
good luck to all
