I knew they were produced, but I was never interested in such, so I never paid attention. I've got some old brochures with a picture, but I don't know much about them personally. They had the DDC/AVH hull, and were available with OB or IO power.
I created the thread to start an online repository for future use if needed by anyone. I'd love to have one with an outboard for quick trips out to the local river that I'll be moving closer to. MS and I have lots of friends with ski/wakeboard boats. They either have lifts or can launch at the shady ramp not far from the house. The river is only a couple hundred feet wide in some spots, but I have taken Monsoon out there a couple times. I have to drive 30 miles down river to find a barely suitable ramp, and cruise 30 miles up the "road course" back to friends' houses. Its a fun trip though. People hear us coming for miles and just shake their heads when we rip by. |

Re: 22' Active Thunder Banshee
I saw the OB one at the factory when I was there. IIRC Pat said he built it to take the kids skiing, etc. I think they were making a an IO one at that time for a friend of his.

Re: 22' Active Thunder Banshee
The boat ran like a raped ape!!! There were a few built. I think Big Al got one. Single Step hull just like the 37. I believe the molds went back to Harry Schull and then were licenced out to a bass boat company. Pat could chime in and tell more. The original Top deck had a forward "rumble seat" configuration....

Re: 22' Active Thunder Banshee
When I picked up my boat at the factory in 2003 there was one there with am Pulse drive on it and was just being built. Pat said the thing would really run with that drive.
Other than that one have not seen one. James |
