As far as I know, nothing new has been opened up so I'm guessing the stops will be the same as last year. Good point on the Tchefuncte, didn't think about that. Still easy enough if you're smart enough to follow the markers.

The river itself you have to def. be more attentive, but other than that, it was all good when I went. I'm sure a guy I know will prob. be there in his 33' A.T. if work permits.

No kidding, the year before an eliminator cat flipped coming from Ponchartrain into Manchac pass on the Royal Purple run and a kid in a borrowed scarab ran it into a condo carport from the river on the Tickfaw 200. It looked like it belonged there. Accidents can and do happen on the river with the speed and alcohol.

I remember seeing pictures of the scarab laying in that yard. Was weird that he made it over the bulkhead and still didn't do much damage.

Thunderstruck,

You going to be on the water in Lake Charles for the second weekend of Contraband? Probably going to be there, thinking of bringing the party barge to hang out at Rabbit Island or whatever y'all call it. Did the Lake Charles boat club poker run last year and had a great time.
