WOT is 4800-5200.

5300-5400 is a no-no from the OEM builder.

Roy's only ran that because he sent the ECMs out to Arizonia Speed shop and had everything recalibrated.

A 525EFI/XR 37 Excess is an 87-88mph boat--box stock.
A 525EFI/XR 33 Evolution is a 90-91mph boat--box stock.
A 525EFI/XR 28 Savage is a 74-75mph boat--box stock.

These are all with stock props. Everyone has a different opinion on what a "labbed prop" really is. To some, its incredibly thinned, and made to run kilos. To others, its delicately sharpened, not thinned, and all the blades trued for weight and pitch. Lab work can cost $400 a prop or $400 a blade. For this reason, the boats are delivered with stock props. An ocean boater and a river boater are NOT going to want the same props. If you want something different, just ask, and the boat will be designed and built for such. However, expect the price to adjust accordingly.

Pat and Jay and company interview each prospective buyer as to what they want to do with their boat, and build the boat around that expectation. That single expectation is the ONLY one that matters.

First of all you guys are funny! I am not stressing about a mile or hour or two. I spend 95% (computer backed) at 3000 to 4000. I just like trying new stuff, it is part of the enjoyment for me. There are others on this board that feels the same. Boating is not only a recreation for me its a study.

Pat, my boat is a dream and I am blessed an fortunate to be able to own and operate one. I am also fortunate to be a part of the AT family. Shame on anyone who wants to run their boat above 5200 rpm!:drink:

Sydwayz the boat will not run 87-88 with "stock out of the box props" So far it runs the best with labbed 32's. ;)

CRB is a acronym for "Constantly Researching Boats" and 76 is his true top speed  :evilb:

On a serious note i ran 82 at 5000 last week. Stock 32 bravos, brackish water with tailwind and tide and some chop, 60 degrees and low humidty, less than half fuel and just the wife and i in the boat. CLOSE to perfect conditions! Maybe 1-2 mph more in saltwater:eek: . Like Sydwayz said everybodys situation is different. I run the river on long runs in moderate chop usually so optimum cruise speed and fuel economy that come with that is most important for me. If that means sacrificing 2 mph on the top end OK(Rich is probaly going to chime in and say i'm too old to run wide open). For that reason i ordered a set of 5 blade Maximus from Bblades monday and i'm getting them labbed and dialed in for the way I RUN my boat. Brett has done lots of props for me and always gets them right for my situation. My boat did run 87 on the first test run at the factory with the maximus prop. So i've spent the coin and will provide everybody with complete results. A couple of week delivery time so be patient. :D
