I have to admit, however, that the last set you sent us were so SWEEEEEET. Especially after we get her up on plane.

Next time we try those props, though, Jay has to sit up on the bow to get her on plane......

What ya talkin about. 1-Mississippi, 2-Mississippi, 3-Mississippi, 16-Mississippi, Gee honey we are getting on plane, see I told ya this 5" spacer was better:eek: :D:drink:

I feel I should clarify that my situation was probably caused by the addition of the "keel plane" and the motors were mounted correctly from the factory. The previous owner's claims and my current performance are all I have to go by until I start "playing" around with the set-up. Which I don't plan to do right away. I was prepared to remove the spacers, but was advised against once I measured my propshaft depth. I am never satisfied, but that's most people....I'll just get a faster boat rather than try to push the limts in unknown territory. I've been told the 28AT hull is stable & predictable to 80mph....after that it's aguess.
And yes, Griff, spacers are much cheaper than shorty's!

Pat, Was this the first 28 built in 1999? I've heard there are "old" hulls & "newer" ones. What's the history of the original 28's & "newer" designs?
We love this boat more each season!

Very simple, because you do it to me!!!:D

Next time we try those props I rather add weight in the front the old fashion way. Jay's time is too expensive for being on the bow. He should focus on being the next ace fork lift guy in the company.:evilb:

I was actually talking about Radio Active. How with out spacers in and wrong set of props the boat was hard to get on plane. It also didnt help the KE 675's never ran right till Eddie half azzed fixed them. I dailed the boat to my boating specifics. 1 1/2" spacer and Hering props. It's all trial and error, fraustrating at times. Go to lake X for the day, that might work for you. Jeff
