Has anyone heard from Macklin??

I dropped him off at the airport hours ago and he said he was gonna 'belly-up' to the bar and then catch his flight.

Now he's disappeared and I'm concerned. :drink:

We hope he didn't stay over because we had some weekend 'plans' testing props on his new boat in the Keys without him!

ACTIVESHACK 04-27-2007 07:24 PM

PROP testing  Is Clark there :evilb: :D

Heck, no!

We're trying to make it go FAAASSSTTER, not SLLOOOOOWER.

However I did threaten that at one point....

I think he needs a 3 inch spacer or does he need to raise the motor, or change gear ratio...........I know LABBED props!!!!! Port should run a 32 and straboard a 34 that is the magic combination!:p

Macklin 04-27-2007 09:00 PM

I'M BACK!

I have to tell you guys...the pics DO NOT do my boat justice. OMG! It is freakin' gorgeous!!!! Inside and out. Got lots of pics to post, but I'm too tired. Didn't sleep well last night and had to leave the house at 4:30 this morning to make my first flight. You'll just have to wait until morning.

Perfect day for a sea trial. 3 - 4's and she ate it up. I didn't push it cause I have like ZERO hours of seat time in this one, but I did run her up to 60 a few times. Love the punch these motors have.

Can't WAIT to get her in the barn. Pat, keep on it!! :D

Now, I just need to pound a couple of cold ones to settle my nerves so I can get some good sleep tonight! :drink:

Macklin 04-27-2007 09:09 PM

OK, here is a teaser. Doesn't show it well, but the AT logo on the bow is stunning.

Oh, the 5 bladers came off before we went out and were replaced with stock 32's. They seemed to do fine....but what do I know. :D

Pat, you have permission to do ONE speed pass with them next week to verify they are good. ;)

I detect some type of conspiracy here

Macklin 04-27-2007 09:41 PM

I have to do some brightness ajustments on most of the cabin shots before I post them, but this one will give you a flavor of it. My Diane was very pleased!

Macklin 04-27-2007 09:47 PM

Oh, here is another good cabin pic. Love the stainless fridge.

One more cabin pic. The yellow paint on the bomar casts a yellow tint on the v bunk. Pretty cool.

And the twins. :D

BillR 04-27-2007 10:12 PM

No schedule yet. Trying to line up a hauler. Wanna drive that beast of a truck of yours down to Florida? LOL :D

Macklin 04-28-2007 05:59 AM

Couple more pics. I was tough getting any good side shots where it was parked. Has Jassman's Nortech right next of mine. Beautiful boat dude!

Macklin 04-28-2007 06:01 AM

Here is the yellow light I was talking about. Kinda neat eh?

Macklin 04-28-2007 06:05 AM

docmanrich37 04-28-2007 06:31 AM

Mack I told you that you would be pleased. When I was there last week the boat looked sweet. My fav is the cabin.Exactly Like Nothing Else.Congrats and permission to do a speed pass well why do you think I was down there last week. She runs great.:evilb:

Jassman 04-28-2007 07:28 AM

Hey mack, boat looks great. Cant quite make out the boat next to yours, looks familiar but not sure:D If you have any more pics post them. I agree on the blue transom, amazing what a few Miller Lite's will do.:drink: Your dash looks great, I like the blue, and blue carbon, but really like how the orange over laps, makes it pop, I give it a 10. The cabin looks extremely plush with the stainless fridge, and very cool looking carpet. Xtremely nice set up, good luck with it. Jeff

I might see you out - MAYBE. Looking to re-assemble boat today and hope to splash Sunday. All depends on some paint that has to dry.
