Pete280 05-10-2007 01:31 PM

He took a hard right after this pic,

Norfolk? you may want to change it back to VB now that BillR did a number on th VB city council.

Sydwayz 05-10-2007 01:38 PM

I am rollin' down I-95 South in the 23' ADH (Active Dually Hauler), on my way to bring some more Thunder home to Virginia.

I am in SC at the moment, and there is a lot of bike traffic heading to Myrtle Beach. I love the T-shirt: "I rode my bike to trailer week." :D

With a little Sudden luck, I may lay eyes on Sudden Blue Blunder (right Bill?) before anyone. :D :D I already passed one inCignificant boat heading north as well as a few others. :evilb: :evilb:

Active Thunders turn very well, even on the trailer. :D I bet a TS Cig could not make that turn. :evilb:

I snapped this in Georgia on the cell phone. I spun around north for a couple miles, and have more on my camera.

BillR 05-10-2007 07:24 PM

Wow! Look at all the bug splatters!

Just talked to him. He is at the North Carolina line. He will definitely be here before the boatel opens at 6am. Damn, I need to get some sleep!

But I'll have one more for good measure...:drink:

Diane set the alarm for 4:30 for more good measure.

BryanTuvell 05-10-2007 08:40 PM

Hell I might drive by before work... 5 minutes from me...

CONGRATS MACKLIN... I am off until the 18th if you need someone to follow you around and give drinks to.

I did so per request. GA is full of trees in the median-- had we passed in opposite directions; so I spun around North and hung out at an on-ramp for a few minutes.

As Rich and I found out. We passed each other at mile marker 13 in GA and that's where the trees were in the median.

I bet he's out riding around  I'm pretty sure we will see some pics. this evening.

Reckless32 05-11-2007 02:44 PM

I heard thru the grapevine he in fact splashed her today. Come on Macklin I know you had to take some pics?

Macklin 05-11-2007 05:02 PM

In the barn at 10:57am? Are you kidding me? No sir! It was on a rack getting the road rash washed off...waiting for Diane to return with boat dog and champaigne. :D

I even had time to top off the tanks and wash the bow off. Jezz the hatches caught a lot of bugs.

Then, off we went. We took BillR's wife for a ride and met up with BillR and JonB who were prop testing Jon's rebuilt engines. Put a couple of hours on her. She now has all of 3.5 on the hour meters. Engines ran great! Need to figure out why the amp isn't working though.

Got her washed, flushed and in the barn just as the rains came. The folks at my new boatel are the best. They customized my bunks per Pat's direction and it fits perfectly!!!

My wife is still grinnin' from ear to ear. She now knows why I came back from Florida doing the same. :D

Thanks Pat, Jay, Diane and all the AT crew! You build a beautiful boat!! :drink:

Everyone is gaga over the paint job. Bill did take some running pics today, but you guys will have to wait until Jammin' to really see it.

Thanks man! I will get right on that!! After a shower and another cold one.

BillR 05-11-2007 05:32 PM

I took some camera pics. Will post em later if they turn out ok.

The pics don't do it justice. It is simply stunning in the water.
Jon's boat ran well - no issues - Joey Griffin motors. Now he has to find the right prop as mine was a tad too much.

Congrats on the boat Mactive - don't let the dog crap or puke on that beautiful carpet. Never seen that in a boat before. Nice!!!

Teach her how to work the GPS. Thats what i did and if she thinks she's the navigator then it gives them something to do other than worry about going too fast!!! :eureka:

Thanks!

Yeah, we were waiting to meet up with Jon and Bill. They splashed somewhere in Portsmouth. I did see that Ocean Marine is selling fuel for $3.10!

I will definitely be fueling up there next weekend. Although, given the weather forecast for this weekend I may not need to. At least before the run. :(
