Default AT 32 speeds

Someday I want to move up to something bigger and the 32 will be on the short list. Originally planned on a bigger single but I think I will go twins. I will probably be looking at 1997-2000. What kind of speeds do the 32s run with stock 502 mags and stock HP500s. Obviously it depends on conditions and I am just looking for a baseline.

Thanks

my 2000 32 with 500 hps runs 84 to 88 on gps depending on where you are running and the air temps. awsome boat loves the rough water and the 32 a/t is a big 32 foot boat with a awsome cabin and deep cockpit.

I like the 32 also, but felt the V-Berth was to small.

Does the notch transom add any speed? I think I read somewhere that the transom went to a notched transom in '98.

Most 32's that I have talked to the owners about run 80-81mph with 500's. 72-74 with 502mpi's.

rssteiny's 32 Audacity is dialed in like a race boat with many many hours of testing and tweaking by the original owner who is a racer.

Thanks for the replies. Any differences in the hulls from 1995-2000?

I think my carbed 500 hp boat went 82 with labbed 28 B1's massaged to 29. Non-labbed 28 B1's 79-81 at 5300 rpm. Now go 91 with 600 hp at the crank, probably 550 hp at the prop.
