Lets have it the last weekend of September. On saturday we can run up past Hopewell to the Shrimpfest on the Appomattox River. The party runs from 2 to 8. They sell 1000 tickets and all the shrimp,fries,beans and slaw you can eat. Plus they have a beer truck that never runs out and always a good band. Can't beat it for $40 a ticket
