Sydwayz Makes The Finals at Emerald Coast
Brian made it to the BIG table.
Got in by having a low hand.
Turned down $3750 for 7rounds then was eliminated with a 9 high.
1st place was a 2yr. prepaid lease on a new F250 4x4 or$18K cash.
Good try and brought the Thunder crowd to the Big Table.
Everyone should be very proud of him and the great showing we had of Active Thunders.

Brian is still grining from ear to ear. I believe the final offer for his hand/ seat was 4K. He was so stoked that he bought me 6 shots at AJ's last night. Also he made the final table with low hand. Just to put this in perspective. There were roughly 300 boats entered this year with an rough average of 6 hands per boat. I don't know if watching him was more fun, or doing 75 in 3-4 footer offshore after the run last night. I will let him chime in on that!
On a side note, this was Active Thunder country this weekend. There was at least 4 37 entered and 3-4 32's. We mad a great showing especially on video in the rough stuff. I can't say that for a few manufacturers.

Another side note...on that offshore run mentioned above by Clark, I decided to try the rear seat for a minute or two and that has to be the BEST riding back seat of ANY ..let me repeat.. ANY offshore boat!!

Back home now and back to work.
What an AWESOME weekend. The whole final table thing was pretty wild. I would have sold my seat for $5000 in my pocket, but bidding did not get up that high. Coming in 4th place netted a 3 day/2 night stay at a Destin/FWB property sometime in the next year. I think I already have a date picked out!!
