Now I have to install the Magic Refrigerator!!

Oh yeah, and some doors and concrete too.

It has been a long and expensive road. I have been waiting my whole life for a Toy Box this big.

Its fully insulated with double-bubble wrap. I have a wood stove that I will be installing for when I want to heat it up, but no plans yet for full climate control.

slboatdrinks 10-05-2007 11:37 AM

Damn, isn't that the truth!! I can barely fit four cars in my driveway.

Looking good Brian. I've followed your threads on this. I'm envious. But then again, I do love being able to phone ahead and have mine splashed just as I arrive at the marina.

Let's see...it cost me $4K per year for that benny. How long will it take you to pay that off?

Probabaly about 7 years.....but he gets to keep a bunch of other stuff stored in there too. He can also walk out the back door and tinker with the boat all winter or even on a cool spring evening with ease. (I'm dying to find a piece of property like that in this area I can afford!!!)

I know that Russ!! It was tongue in cheek. There are trade offs for sure, but I'm happy with being 5 minutes from the Ches Bay. I would love to have the boat in the back yard though. Been there....

But, I bet it won't take near that long!

I've got some places lined up, but still looking for closer and cheaper to home.

It's down in Hampton. I have the building divided in 2 sides. I rent half out and keep the other half for my toys and my friends. My side is 60' x 150' and very dry and warm  Theres always room for another AT in there :D

Oh yeah! What's a party without blowing up stuff.

cauzmik 10-06-2007 08:26 PM

Show us what it looks like with the bling in it!

jafo 10-07-2007 10:17 AM

Looks great! There's nothing like having some space to do things right at home. I don't know what I'd do without my shop (and all the other out-buildings)- the only problem is that it was too small before it was even finished:p.......
Just a little tip learned over the years the hard way- when you do the concrete, use re-bar instead of mesh. ;) A little more costly, but well worth it.

good2go38 10-07-2007 04:07 PM

Garage party

DO Fountain guys get invited to garage parties?

spilman 10-07-2007 08:53 PM

Rarely! But maybe B will make an exception...

DirtyMoney 10-07-2007 10:39 PM

What was the actual building cost? Did the supplier erect it?

I sent you a PM.

BTW, I was going to go with 40' wide, but I decided to go with a staggered setup and 30' wide. :ernaehrung004:
