Sy @ Total Dollar is supposed to be getting new new carrier that will be more affordable. I too went w/ Bob Luellen - Worldwide Marine. Saved me over $1000 year.
I "hated" dropping Sy - he IS the best in the business, but $1000 is alot of difference.

I have State Farm. It is $1100 per year for my 36'. In many cases I think it has more to do with the agent than anything. I fired my last guy because he told me that he couldn't write insurance on a 35' Sonic that I was considering. Come to find out that the boat was already insured with State Farm under the seller.

Needless to say I wasn't happy when I found this out and proceeded to find someone that was a little bit more willing to have all of my business.

State Farm has written every boat i've owned until this one including my Skater. They wrote the Fountain for $1300.00 a year. I've never had a claim and have a perfect driving record but they wouldn't write this boat.

You might want to talk to American National Property and Causualty out of Springfield, Mo. They will want your entire package, home, cars, boats, and umbrella. Joe Murray

STATE FARM insured our DAYTONA 33 with twin 1150 hp until early 2007, they sent a letter they were no longer insuring catamarans .Look elsewhere
