Active Thunder Onstar Service
 

Yep, I did not know it until this weekend but my old '98 32 has an Onstar button. You push it, Pat calls you and brings your trailer to you to keep you from bobbing and weaving in the ICW until midnight or so due to 6-8's offshore. I'm sure the newer boats have it too.

What kind of service is that??

Never got to use mine since we picked up and headed north. Maybe someday when she returns to the sunshine state:rolleyes:

I made that same trip up the IC in January due to those same waves. It was just a nice ride, drinking a few beers and checking out the houses.

Nortechs have a similar gizzmo!!:D:D

Nameless No-Tech Owner: "My husband and I are off Hillsboro Inlet and we have run out ot gas, HELP! Our beautiful, new boat with no gas because we were to cheap to fill it up is going to sink!"

Operator: "Okay, ma'am, please calm down. We will get help right away. Please hold while I call for assistance"

NT Receptionist: "Good afternoon, NorTech Powerboats. How can I direct your call?"

Operator: "Terry Sobo, please. The Nameless No-tech owners have run out of fuel and need help."

NT Receptionist: " Mr. Sobo says to tell them he's out of the office for the week visitng Hanz and Franz and that they might one to call Clark Beecher to save them."

Operator: "I will relay the message, Thank you and have a good day"

Receptionist: " And a good day to you, too. Thank you for calling NorTech"

Operator: "Ma'am are you still there?"

Nameless No-Tech Owner: " Yes, Please hurry! The rocks are getting closer"

Operator: " We've Dispatched ClarkStarMan to help"

Nameless No-Tech Owner: " Oh, thank you! Thank you! We can see him. He is here to save us! ClarkStarMan is our hero!!!"

Operator: " Glad to help, ma'am. Thank you for calling ClarkStar"

Nameless No-Tech Owner:: "And thank you ClarkStarMan!"
