Stupid question, is it salt or freshwater? and another is it a coastal waterway?? think it is in my garmin already.

Overactive's house is on the Chickahominy River. It leads to the James River which is where the run takes place. The Chick is fresh water, the James is salt.

You can't really get lost on the river, just stay in between the markers.

You won't need to flush it.....the start is in fresh water. When you return to your trailer on Sunday you just spent an hour or 2 running up river into fresh water...(so it's already flushed!!!) However you may want to give her a good bath so any salt is off the exterior. (We have a house a mile from ActiveShack's on the Chick but probably won't be there friday night since we help put on the event).
