Overactive's house is on the Chickahominy River. It leads to the James River which is where the run takes place. The Chick is fresh water, the James is salt.

You can't really get lost on the river, just stay in between the markers.

You won't need to flush it.....the start is in fresh water. When you return to your trailer on Sunday you just spent an hour or 2 running up river into fresh water...(so it's already flushed!!!) However you may want to give her a good bath so any salt is off the exterior. (We have a house a mile from ActiveShack's on the Chick but probably won't be there friday night since we help put on the event).

Sweeeet!!

Mark, you didn't have to go all the way to Colorado to go skiing. You should've just come up my way. We've been getting snow almost every other day. :(

This run is basically a 200 mile round-trip party... by boat.

Most folks arrive in town all through the day on Friday, and there is a party Friday night, Saturday night, and last year ActiveShack & Lori hosted/cooked/served a feast at his compound on the River on Sunday for the AT folks in town.

It's a can't miss event.
