Default Saw some nice 37 AT's yesterday

Ran down through Boca to Ft Lauderdale and the AT's were some of the nicest boats I saw all day. A nice 37 (Liquid Thunder I think was the name) on a lift in Boca and a beautiful green/silver/black 37 in the water docked behind Hillsboro Mile.

Saw a few Cigs/Fountains on lifts and a couple of Sonics and a NT 39V out running around but the AT's were the best looking for the day.

I see that Liquid Thunder is for sale in the boat trader ads. Sure looks like a good deal to me. Very good looking boat. I am surprized it isn't on OSO classifieds.

It isn't exactly a steal at 180k for a 4 year old boat. It is sitting behind a 4mm house so he may be able to sell it for less than 180K .

He had it on a lift and a 15 whaler on a lift which made me laugh since I have my 32 Sunsation and a 15 Whaler for my kids.

YA 179k may be a little much but that is a starting price. And given todays used market there is probly more room there than you think, I could be wrong though. Its a good look'n boat all the same.

Liquid Thunder is a nice 2004 w/ 525s. The owner, Justin, is not an avid OSO-er. Last time I talked to him, he was talking about yachts.

The Green/Silver one was probably the "Color of Money" as its affectionately known. It has ALL the bling and custom. More on this thread:

Man, I would have killed for a Whaler when I was a kid! Had to settle for my 12' MFG tri hull with a little clip on.

I skied behind one on the Intercoastal for a few years...back in the day. If I remember correctly, it was a old Montauk (sp?) that my buddy completely restored. It was a real beauty!

Yep that is the boat. I thought from a distance it was the factory Sunsation F4 in green/black!

The Justin guy lives in a yachting type community. House a few houses down the canal is for sale for 25mm.

!
My 7 year old runs the whole boat by herself. She has done 20 miles through channel markers/no wake zones/ no speed limit zones all unassisted. I looked for 6 months for a 15 Whaler w/ side console since a center console is too high to see over for my kids.

OSO'r spotted one on ebay, I bought it that day. 97 Hull, 06 4 stroke 60 HP Yamaha, 06 Galvanized Swing Arm trailer. Guy was a lunatic when it came to this boat, gave me 8600 in receipts spent in 06 and I bought it in July 06 for 10K. Had 24 hours on it and it now has 85 hours on it. We keep it at a 2nd home so it gets used about once a month. I am looking for another to keep at my primary residence but the clean ones are tough to find.

That's just too cool. I'm guessing your are the kind of dad that I had. I couldn't go past our little cove until he felt comfortable with my experience. I guess I was about 10 yo when he finally let me venture out onto Linkhorn Bay.

That was just before BillR moved into town. Then all hell broke loose.
