Default Too Cheap

This Fountain has a MSRP of $386,500.00 Thats $100.000.00 more than I have in my AT. WTF I see why Fountain stock is $1.00 a share and there sales are down.

Mark - I saw that boat today at the show. This was a 35 with 525's in it for that price! The interior looks like something you would see from Miami Vice. Reggie may have a fast hull however, he needs to pull his interior designs out of the 80's. Sunsation had an F4 about 50 yds from this which is why Fountain had no traffic at their booth

In all honesty, I am not trying to stir the pot. In fact, I generally stay away from threads where the brand loyal freaks pick apart other boats. I actually like Fountains and considered one at a certain point in life. However, Mark was the former owner of a Fountain and I am sure he would agree...the cockpit design looked like it had not been updated in about 20 years. When maufacturers like Sunsation and AT are raising the bar with their designs, it makes these things a bit more obvious.

Your right the Fountain booth was dead and I had to wait in line to get on the F-4. The Fountain didn't look bad other than the small dated cockpit but who in their right mind would pay that for a boat that small. I had a 35 with 496s and bought it brand new in Sept. 04 and paid $148,000 for it.

I paid a good bit less than that for my PQ340 with 496s and loaded up. I won't say how much because I don't want to give Pat a heart attack...
