I was trying to conserve gas so I wouldnt run out...again..
besides my lil buddy in the red/white boat not metioning any names.. Kevin..didnt want to run over 3500 rpms.

I noticed in many pictures this past year..that The Leader and
Co-Leader usually have brown bottles by day and green bottles at night.
And usually with the green bottles their eyes are closed or red or squinting and accompanied by strange facial expressions.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm??

You are correct about the 3500RPM.....The boat was running in the mid 60's at that RPM, we are in the Key's and with the eye candy in the boat (possibly distracting the driver) I wanted to have plenty of reaction time. Why rush getting there.....enjoy

Besides, the guy who bought the boat from me really appreciated the loving care those engines received.
