Tough choice!
1 Attachment(s)
Since I don't have deep enough pockets to upgrade this year, I'll just make it look like I did.
Decided to go with vinyl instead of paint. Got narrowed down to 3 choices, still have choices on the shades of purple, waiting on samples. |
Not a fan of purple but I like the bottom one the best
|
I like #3
|
# 3 it is :)

Great minds think alike, was leaning towards #3 myself but every time I look at them I change my mind.
Trying to stay with the purple cause the swim platform and interior has purple, and sadly also pink that I was never crazy about. Thinkin of swapping it out for the yellow or green. Thanks for the input, keep it coming!! |
For meit'sclose between 2 & 3.Need to study it more.
But exchange the interior pink for green with a yellow bead or piping to outline and seperate the colors. Just my idea. |
i like #3
|
I thought I posted on this earlier, huh, Anyway I really like the first one, 2nd ones nice also, 3rd looks to much like something else that I have seen lately. But thats me and I can't seem to agree with anyone these days.

Tap, I'd try to thin the graphics out as they go forward.....it helps to make the boat look longer. Just my (and my interior design degreed wife) 2 cents!! I do like the colors:cool-smiley-011:
|
I like #1 or #3 however, I would swap the green and purple and make the green the primary. Then you change your interior pink to yellow and the interior will reflect your exterior accents.
Also, R Addiction is spot on....thin them out towards the front |
Shawn, I've learned a few things from Les:p
Good ideas with the color swap......we should go into business.:D |
Tap, I gotta go with #2 along with some modification. I'd like to see the colors thinned out as they go forward, and hug the rub rail a little closer before they start to fill up the side of the boat; i.e. beginning to take more shape somewhere under the fairing.
Its a white boat. White is good, but accenting it with color is more preferable than covering the white too much. |
#3 or you could buy my 32 AUDACITY:D
|
Tap, You are going to make it to the Jammin Run right?:cool-smiley-011:
|
#3 For me too. Looks Awesome.
|
I like #1 the best.
|
howabout hydraulic steering instead?

But, if it were my boat I would just remove the graphics and leave it white. Another idear..........I don't much care for the profile of the 28 AT or the 28 Apache the way the windshield is. BUT if you put a vinyl wrap over the top half of the windshield it gives the illusion of a lower windshield and IMO a better looking profile. Sorry these are all 28 apaches, but its all I've got. |

Man that Apache with the blue and white looks classy. If i could get my hands on a nice 28 that is what i would want it to look like.
I think its a newer model, like 2000ish. It may be the 30 apache they have on their website. Look at the transom. It looks like the back end extends beyong the transom like a built in swim platform but without the platform. |

I agree 100%, I wish I had some more pics of it in the water. That something so simple and single colored looks so classy..........the yacht doesn't help it much either:D

Damn, now I don't know what to do......:cool-smiley-027:
By U Boy great changes, But I think I am leaning to #2 with it thinning and huggin the rub rail towards the front like Brian said. Didn't think of green being the primary but that has got me rethinking the colors a bit. Not sure but I think the design of #1 is a bit dated for me. Thanks for all the ideas, everyone had some great input! But maybe I should go with #1 cause OCD will probably buy it soon, so then I can buy Audacity next winter when it goes up for sale again:D As for the hyd steering, that is on my shortlist if I keep it and juice up the power a bit, handles great without it for now. But then again I never driven a boat with it so I have nothing to compare. Still debating on the long aZZ tow to the Jammin bash, maybe we can start a caravan in PA somewhere!:D |

I like the lines of the AT and Apache from the profile, think they look bada$$. Just need a windeflector and it will be perfect! Went from a stingray with a windsheild to a true offshore look and will never look back untill my wife makes me buy a cruizer!

|
Still no closer in a choice, even after a few cool-aids.
Waiting to get some samples of the vinyl to see the colors in person. Thinkin I gonna go with purple as the primary, 2 shades, then the green and yellow highlights. Buy U 's design change is really growin on me......... #1 is sofar the peoples choice:cool-smiley-027: Anybody have a tantrum they can give me measurement from the rubrail down to the bottom edge at the transom, then the transom forward to the where the helm is?? Mine is shrinkwrapped and tucked away...:( |
