I'll dig up all the videos I have and throw 'em in there. :D

Macklin 03-01-2008 04:01 PM

Very cool vids John! Are you seriously bored? :D

Can't wait for spring...almost here! Probably do a first splash down in two or three weeks. We have had a very mild winter. Case in point...power bill last month was $149, and I'm all electric.

Diane keeps saying we are in for one more serious cold spell and some snow, which we have not seen this year. Hope not!

R Addiction 03-01-2008 04:03 PM

Bored.....Hell yea!! Surgery sucks.....saps energy!! Our all electric bill has been reasonable too. :D

Rest up dude and get well! My neighbor, a triathelete, recently had the same surgery. He was NOT a happy camper. Seems like you are making the best of it! :D

Look forward to seeing y'all this summer!

I did notice that the center of the deck looked a little shallow. Will there be internal drains? The reason for my remark about the anchor locker is with most of the ones I have seen on performance boats they just don't work, to much bounceing and banging, with this it may not be a problem just from shear size :D Also I am so glad to see you stayed with the squared transom. Dan and I were just talking about it and agree that it will be quite a sight to see it floating, the monster that it is. As I said before BEAUTIFUL:ernaehrung004:

Sydwayz 03-01-2008 07:35 PM

If you look at the rear of the flush hatches, the channels will drain into the speed lines that go down the bow. Its a super sweet design, and I can't wait to get one on the water.

The hull is underway as well, just not in the same building.

They work well with anchor brackets. Found out the hard way with my Baja. Tore the chit out of the anchor locker after a rough day on Ches Bay. Installed the lock downs and good to go.

cosmic12 03-01-2008 08:05 PM

I do hope it works bringing an anchor all the way out that deck will be a haul :p Look in this months Extreme boats mag there is a big Donzi blasting and the locker door is flappen in the breeze:( I know Pat will get it right.

ACTIVESHACK 03-01-2008 08:14 PM

I told you guys when I saw it that it was a Battleship

Those other guys have got to be saying HUH?????????. And by the way Randy (Profile= Lqu-Glass) doesn't like what we have been saying about him in GD ck it out good read.

I just got done reading the whole thread. He sounds like some guy  I saw the boat in Miami and said "Liquid glass never heard of them" and didn't give it a second look because cats don't do much for me anyway and this one didn't appeal to me at all.

They're used to hold the anchor in place. :angry-smiley-038:

I think its in one of the last 2 powerboat magazines with the Liquid Glass cat in it....the cabin shot is terrible....look at the headliner:eek:

Those anchor lockers scare me. Look at the video of the Sunsation in Destin Inlet last summer. Granted the guy was driving like a idiot but when he hit the locker flew open and the anchor went across the boat and over the stern. It was a miracle it didn't take somebodys head off. I think Macklin is talking about a bracket and pin to hold the anchor inside the locker so if the door comes open the anchor is still secure. I have a neighbor with a Baja and his just wedges under the door with nothing holding it. That's OK just running around on the Chickahominy or down to Chippokes to anchor up on Sunday. But if I had a boat with a anchor locker I would empty it out before I went in the Bay on a Poker Run or anywhere there was any chance of running into big water.
