This is one of the control shacks for the snowmaking equipment that hasnt seen much use this winter. This will give you a idea of the depth of snow.

Mark, if I'll was doing was playing in it, it wouldn't be so bad.

It's the constant shoveling and driving in it with traffic that really get's to you.

Those shots are beautiful.

camptappakeg69 03-09-2008 05:13 PM

Rub it in:cool-smiley-027:, doesn't even compare to mole hills we have around here. Mostly the reason I haven't been, takes longer in the line at the lift then it does to ski the slopes:D

I know what you mean. When I had the business if we got 2" it threw everything in a tailspin for 3 days.

Hey guys,

It's still pretty cold here in Michigan, so posted some AT videos we shot from this past summer to get me by. These are all videos with the new engines...

Only time we get lines here are during Christmas. Other times it pretty much ski right in the chair or maybe have a 5-10 chair wait. :D

Thanks! - Still a work in progress...

The Hardy Dam video is the only one running in the lake without mufflers, I had to try to keep up with KAAMA in the decibel category up there :D It's still pretty loud with mufflers though when above an idle.

ACTIVESHACK 03-10-2008 04:31 PM

Good video

That is a great vid, sounds great and good swells!!

IS THAT UFO IN THE SKY AT THE END.....:evilb:

Tibbstoy2 03-10-2008 05:28 PM

Probably a sea gull... I've killed of few of them with the boat - accidentally of course :)

Oh, and there are 4 videos on that link, not just the boating at dusk one... the pentwater one is probably the best quality.

The Hardy Dam vid is cool.

How did you keep the wind noise out of the video? External mic?

cosmic12 03-10-2008 07:29 PM

watched em all That is one pertty 32 you got there :cool-smiley-011:

Tibbstoy2 03-10-2008 08:39 PM

Thanks guys, wow do I miss boating...

It's actually JVC digital (20 Gb HDD) video camera with an internal mic... I was kind of disappointed for a while that it did not have the option of an external mic - but yeah, I honestly think the camera was held just close enough to the "windshield" that the mic was not disturbed by the airflow.

R Addiction 03-10-2008 10:37 PM

My little Canon camera I can actually keep my finger in front of the mic and block the wind...it works ok. Great vids Tibbs:D

Everybody's going to think that was in the swimming pool. Here's one to show where it was. :D

I hear you on the gas pump issue!!

Wow, that's some great paint! And those engines look like a very similar setup to mine... how big? horsepower/torque? What kind of speed are you seeing?

Is it me, or is that fender crooked? :D :D

I gotta say that the add for that 37 (when 4-sale) did it no good at all, you saw through the bad pics must be. That is one of the best looking37s I have seen. (no offence to the rest) I just really like the nice clean look it has. Beautifull trailer.Good looking all round package.

You can thank me. I talked him into it! :D :D

Hell, I even sold his 28 for him so he had parking space!

(Just kidding Mike! I agree with Mark. It's one of my favorite ATs.)

boatfreak 03-12-2008 11:43 AM

Thank you Thank you very much.:D
First of all, though I'm afraid Brian may hurt his arm patting himself on the back, he did just what he says above and then some. I can thank him everytime I pull up to the gas dock.:grinser010: Without question he's the man with a finger on the pulse of these Thunders. I still have to dial this thing in. I think the guy that had it just drove the thing but I know I'm leaving alot on the table. I've got slip #s of 20% right now gut I can get 94 out of it with that.

and yes the fender is bent in that pic. I backed off a ramp in water so dirty I couldn't see the thing and bent the front of the right fender. Did I mention the trailer was one day old when it happened? :(

Sydwayz 03-12-2008 11:54 AM

I was just giving you a hard time Mike. You can't even tell the fender is dinged in that picture. Hell, I did not even know which side it happened on. :D :D

Tibbstoy2 03-12-2008 11:56 AM

94 at 20% slip, wow, you're going to be hauling when you get a handle on the slip...

What props and drives are you running? What horsepower/rpm?

I was running the same slip in my '97 32 this past summer.

R Addiction 03-12-2008 08:23 PM

No I wish. I rented a bay last summer for a few months in there. The guy gets $250 a month for them and keeps them full. I usually keep it here at home. We have a couple Morton buildings here on the farm and the newer one, that is 60x150, has a heated shop in one end. We had them put in a wall at 60 feet so we have a 60x60 shop. I haven't had to winterize a boat in several years.
