You guys forced me into a new thread!!

I know a few of you have the newer AT's and they are pretty much maxed out on the bling. But even so lets see the little things that you've done to your AT to hike up the Bling Factor!!

Ok I'll start....custom painted grab handles

Pat did the exhaust also, and I replaced all the bilge pump hose and vent hose with new white stuff, and installed stainless marine exhaust rings inside, made the biggest difference...

Before and After:

boatfreak 03-07-2008 11:49 AM

I put in a m84 Northstar unit, or should I say the A.T. guys did, while the boat was in Florida. I also added therms to my oil coolers, worked on my silent choice and put on a new set of exhaust tips with internal baffles and external flappers. I think the only thing I need now is a trick new wheel.I just can't find one that really turns me on and it almost has to be white so it's going to have to be trick to stand out.

I added the F & M Cowlings chrome coolant tank covers and billet fill caps to mine.

Sydwayz 03-07-2008 06:03 PM

I have new throttles and billet speaker covers as well, but no pics yet. Not to mention the dance-club lights which will be standard on all Sydwayz Edition Active Thunders.

How about some bling bling for the trim tabs :evilb::hitfan:

R Addiction 03-07-2008 10:00 PM

Buzz, Are you talking about those shiny metal powdercoated west coast lookin' Tabs:grinser010:

24skaterVA 03-07-2008 10:14 PM

No those nice chrome caps that cover the indicator cable & dont turn white when you spray them w/ lime-a-way. Go look at an Outerlimits, Nor-tech, or a Cigarette, they come on the boat. :evilb::hitfan:

He's talking about the thru hull fitting that screws into the tab for the indicator cable. The plastic ones cost 23 bucks a pair and the stainless one 106 bucks a pair. Mercury makes both. The first time you put lime-away on the transom when your in Florida the plastic ones turn white and look like chit. The manufacters in the previous post use the stainless steel ones and AT uses the plastic. I've ordered some polished stainless blinged up ones to replace mine with from Stainless Marine. They come with a hose to cover the cable from the thru-hull to the tab connection and look really good. The OL at the Miami Show had them on it.

Macklin 03-08-2008 07:48 AM

I added this bling! Need I say more? :D

Have you guys noticed that TSPM is using this pic, in a different way, in their scrolling add here on OSO? Very cool. :D

Paul, I want that pic for my screen saver! :cool-smiley-011:

Why would you use lime-away on your boat?

spilman 03-08-2008 08:51 AM

Mine are white also, the hull cleaner I use(On & Off Hull and Bottom Cleaner) does the same thing. But it does work!

Lime Away??....

To remove that white chalky crap off the chrome on the transom that forms when you leave your boat in that wonderful Florida salt for a couple of days. Didn't you get that chit on there last winter when we went to Key Largo ?
