Default 32 Thunder?

Could a straight bottom 32 still be produced? Is the tooling available to do the hull?

Thanks

The mold is still there but has a dam in it for the 28.. I am surprized Pat hasn't said anything. Just stating what I have seen.

and also where there any changes made tot he deck when the 33 came to market....is the same as the 32 or a whole new deck.....I guess my question is excluding the step what is different about the 33......and based on the previos response....I am assuming the 33 is not the 32 with a step?

Correct. The 33 is not a 32 with a step. The 33 is a 9/10ths version of the 37.

The 32 and 33 decks are not from the same mold.

We can build a non-stepped version of the 33 AT. Almost everything on the 33 is a 9/10s version of the 37, so yes there are differences from the original 32. All of the hulls are related, but they are not damned versions of one big hull. They all have tweaks.

There were two 32 hull molds. One was damned to make the 28 mold. One was sold with the deck and other associated molds.

I was also curious the pedigree of the 32 i was always under the impression that there were 2 31 excaliber molds and one became the 31 thunder and the other became the 33 executioner (fountain beek on a 31 hull) is this the bloodline of the 32? and will the purchaser of the 32 molds be making that boat?.......I would think the 33 would be best with the step since that is how it was designed originally.....and being a scaled version of the 37 I wouldn't want top mess with that.....I still remember Pat and I leaving lighthouse in the first 37 AVH and I circled some guy that was running his mouth at the ramp about his triple 28 pantera would run 90 in the bump.....I actually circled him......and passed him again.....and that 37 was still being dialed in....

I enjoyed reading it too. I saw the boat and met the guy that owns it back in Febuary and it looks like it's going to be a bad ride when Pats done with it.
