Default 32' Question please...

Pat or anyone....What is the actuall weight of the water tank? And what gallon capacity does it generally hold in a 32'? Also, where is the water tank generally located? My fresh water fill is on the port side near the back seating area. Thanks

In my 32 it was under the sink cabinet in the cabin. 9 gallons is what it held.
But my fill was in a different place so could be different.

my fill is in the same location as yours and it holds 12 gallons.....I think the tank is in the port side gunwale, just below the fill.

Thanks for the responses so far guys. I assume the tank is made of aluminum?

My water tank on my 97 is under the gunwale/backseat on the port side. It is made of plastic/poly. I think its 8-10 gallons, but I have never used it.

KAAMA-
I've seen videos of your boat and it looks like it runs really hard. What motors/drives do you have and what speeds are you seeing?
Thanks,
Tom

Tom, Conventional V-hull, no notch in transom, Merc XR 1.50drives w/IMCO -2" shorties hanging off a pair of Stellings extension boxes, 30" Hydromotive P5X untouched 5-bladed props, 315cc AFR CNC ported heads with some port work by "JimV" on the exhaust ports, Dart single plane intakes, 950cfm Holly carbs, MSD crank triggers, 9.5 comp ratio, Crane Hi-6M ignition boxes, KE HP-6 sized "Thermofilters", extra large Sen-Dure oil coolers, cam driven water pumps, Stellings full length tubular 4.5" dry headers, relatively small hydraulic roller cams---565cid/615hp @5400rpm and something like 670ftlbs of torque @4400rpm. So far I have seen 94mph (gps) on flat water, full fuel, against river current and going into the wind---if any of that matters. Engines idle at 600rpm in NUETRAL!!! The drivability of the engines are as smooth and sweet as a creampuff---incredible shifting and manuvering!

A friend of mine has the exact same boat (32' AT) with supposedly dyno tested 556cid/815hp supercharged engines and his boat cannot pull away from me---I am right there by his side even when punching it at 3500rpm all the way up and we do the exact same speed on top as we get there....I am quite sure it's because he doesn't have the same drive equipment hanging off his transom as I do. The cool thing is, is that he usually is running with 1/2 tank of fuel while I always have my tanks full---anyway, close enough----I really like the way my boat runs.

Must have saw my boat on Youtube?

Yes I saw a video on Youtube and AT also had a flyby video on their website a few years back. Sounds like a badass boat with some nice hardware. Throws up a nice little rooster tail too Congrats.
