Default Question about a boat on their site

There is a used 99 AVH with 600's staggered on their site. Now, in looking all of this over, it strikes me....did they have to modify the boat to do staggers? Do they do that anymore? What did they do to get them in there if anything, move the seat forward? So is there less cockpit space if you do that? Anyone know the scoop? Only one I've seen "staggered"....anyone building theirs that way? If not, is there a reason? Did that not work as well as side by side?

Okay, so I don't have just one question....LOL!

The 99 AVH is listed as a courtesy for the owner, we do not have it in our posession. But to answer your question, we did have to shorten the cockpit by moving the rear seat forward and converting it to a stand up bolster. As for the performance, the Harry Schoell bottom design is engineered with a specific CG for safety and performance. The staggard setup may help other manufacturers, but "UNLIKE" other hull designs, our boats performance did not increase when we built this configuration. So in our opinion, you do not need to spend the extra money for maximum performance, it's already built-in to our design, we recommend that you spend the money on some cool accessories (or put it in your pocket), and keep the cockpit usable since there is no performance advantage with our boat. Please call me anytime with your questions!

The new bottoms are so fined tuned that is hard to describe, unless you go for a ride.
