What worked best for your 32??
#1
Hey guys its time for me to start thinging about the outdrives
for my 32. Can anyone tell me what worked the best for them.
Standard,=1,=2. I dont have extension boxes. I have seen several that have the standard length on them. I do have a
standard right hand with only 25 hrs on it. It sure would be nice to order another just like it and go.
But on the other hand I want it to be right when done. Any help would be great. Thanks Timmy.

Your boat is a liitle older and the X dimension is probably lower/deeper than the newer 32's. You could most likely go with a -1 or -2 lower. First you need to find out what your X dim is or at least find out your propshaft depth.

From: Anywhere from the Laguna Madre to JAX and beyond
Had a '94 with 465HPs.
Bravo 1s. and 1:36 gears
Ran 78-81 at it's best with 3 blade Mirage Plus 23*pitch
Removed water pumps did crossovers added dry exhaust and 1:51 gears.
Boat jumped to 84-86 with 3 blade Mirage Plus 27*pitch
My favorite all around set up was pitching 27s to 28* pitch
top end slowed down to 81-82 but 3900-4000rpm was 60-62 mph.
What a great cruise speed and fuel burn!!!!!
and the sound was better than standing in the pits with a Nascar.
