Default 28 thunder set ups

any 28 thunder owners with 500efi what prop are you running at what gps speed and rpm,, been trying all summer to get my buddys 28 dialed in. works best with a left handed 24 4 blade it hit 69 on gps at 5200, im thinking he should be able to spin a 26 labbed. he has a 26 labbed that spins 5000 and only low 60 mph i think it has a bad slippage problem.

thanks

I think the year makes a differance on the 28's. Maybe Pat will chime in. Doug

This is a 2002, based on the 525 boat spinning a 26 at 5200 and 73 the 500efi may only spin a 24 at 5200 and 69-70 sounds about right.

Rick,

You have the right prop on that 28.

Stock RH 26 Bravo on 2004 or newer 28 with a 525 runs 73-75.
Stock LH 24 Bravo on the 2002 back 28 with a 500 runs 69-71.

Lab finished Merc prop up two pitches and gain 2-3.

Full time mufflers, scrub 5. (don't ask)

Your answer is in his post:

Stock LH 24 Bravo on the 2002 and back 28, with a 500 runs 69-71.
