Default Winter Project

Well it's the time of year to get going on some winter projects. It's hard to believe it's been 5 years since we upgraded the 500's to 600's. So, it's time for rings, bearings, valve springs, valve job, rebuild lifters, paint bilge and a ton of other stuff.

Worked for a while tonight but it was hot as heck in my shed.

What are you guys doing for winter projects?

Start with both motors in the boat, running OK BTW.

Rick let us know how it goes. Interesting concept to put the little blowers on. Shouldn't take too much to make Audacity run in the upper 90's to 100.

I'm doing all new power for my 32 again. The engines came out last week and Im working on the new 850 blower motors now. I sure hope I can have them completed by spring.

Man, looks like alot of a/ts are going to be fresh this spring.
Flenner did you do the Chattanooga run with Eric?
I wanted to go but I had already had some of the coolant hoses off the engines.
He told me it was a blast. I seen your boat there when I picked
up my 32 from getting the steering system on. NICE!!
Im talking to Scott at Suncoast power boats about Rolling Thunder. Its a long shot because I already have two boats
But I like it. Good luck with your builds.

T What are the specs on your engines now? Can't remember. Should be a screamer.

T, Chattonooga was a blast. That is the hardest that we all have run all year. It was the last run for the year so we gave it all we had. I think this run is going to grow fast. The people were great, Homemade BBQ, And the leaves were in full color. Good luck on your winter project.
