Well here is the paint sketch. There is still going to be a few more tweeks but this is pretty much how shes is going to look.

If i can get some pics out of Pat without driving him crazy i will post pics of the build.

slboatdrinks 11-24-2009 06:42 PM

Tell Chris I said hi.
Steve

OL40SVX 11-24-2009 06:57 PM

I will have to say that will be a sweet looking paint job!!

jdub 11-24-2009 09:50 PM

That's going to look badass! What are you thinking for interior?

outriggers 11-24-2009 10:26 PM

I like it. Doug

chuckbeecher 11-24-2009 11:36 PM

Really like it!!!!!!!!!!
specially the deck and rear hatch is outtasight!!

Jassman 11-25-2009 05:42 AM

That looks really good. Harold designed my Nor-Tech paint job and we always had compliments. Work with Pat on carring down some of the deign on the dash and coodinate the color scheme in to the cockpit. Pat won't mind you calling him 3 times a day:lolhit:.. he loves this stuff. You have a great looking paint job on one of the best boats money can buy. Congrats.

boatfreak 11-25-2009 05:56 AM

VERY nice.

laszlo01 11-25-2009 07:15 AM

looks super nice, but i am partial to the blue.

Thunderstruck 11-25-2009 07:45 AM

Blue is one of my favorites. Great looking boat.

Thunderstruck 11-25-2009 07:46 AM

Are those #6 drives??

JeffC 11-25-2009 08:15 AM

Thanks Guys...

We are going to run the graphics over on the dash also. I think it will look pretty good. I am also going with the same color scheme on the cockpit interior.

rssteiny 11-25-2009 08:56 AM

That will be another awsome A/T CONGRATS.

REMEDY 11-25-2009 09:15 AM

Sweet!

Gladhe8er 11-25-2009 12:40 PM

I love blues. That sketch looks awesome.

customryder 11-25-2009 01:11 PM

chuckbeecher 11-25-2009 07:05 PM

When it comes to the interior only deal with Dianne..she turns out great and tasteful interiors.

I am flying down on the 4 to get with Diane on the interior.

The motors shipped last week, so they should be there next week.

Don't forget about the cabin door, under the dash to the floor.
For some reason...$$$$$$...those areas are always left white.
Also the sides where the gel shows around the upol.
Looks great and can't wait to see it done.

I'll be arriving on the 4th to take my boat out for the weekend. Let me know if you want to go for a spin.

It is going to have six hundreds in it. We will try and make that run this year for sure.

I don't think Jeff is too worried about it. The 600SCi/XR is a warrantied package offering from Mercury Racing; and they have been consulted as part of the setup of this boat.

I am sure the bravos are border line, but i am a conservative boater. My previous boat had regular bravos and 630 hp motors. It has alot to do with the way you drive the that dictates how long the drives will last.

A freind of mine said that they make some bigger shafts for the XR also. Something to check into after warranty period.

I had built, to date, the fastest stock 600 merc 39' cigarette (101 MPH), having another 3-4 mph left, as per throttle-up. we quit at 101 b/c we were going to start losing accelleration..... and my 600 boat out accellerated a 700 39' cigarette (up to 95-96 MPH) --- their factory boat!!!!

***NEVER HAD A DRIVE ISSUE OR FAILURE, but always stayed ahead of maintance etc... changing fluids every 20 hrs.

so, i'd call :bsflag:

all the best,

joe

ps: congrats again jeff ---- nice colors!!!!

The differnce is .. that I know you know how to drive.. properly.:grinser010: and work on your equipment too.

for the mass the bravo will work if used responsible. The boat is light enough. You will get a few seasons out of her. There are drives out there.. but I wont get into that.
