I think that one is best. You can also go all out with billet. If you go with that one and you use it, you need to put some grip on it. I dont think it comes with grip.

The platform was red, the sun will turn red (powdercoat) into orange fast.. especially if its not clear-coated... first i bead blasted all the old powder-coat off, and had it re-powercoated red. then sand & paint with basecoat, clearcoat. (standox) this way you still have a hard undersurface that is red if you chip the paint... and it matches perfect..

You're right, that could be a problem. The only solution I can think of is to have abrasive particles in the paint, but then it wouldn't look as nice. Maybe I'll just stick with the tubular one, it's cheaper anyhow! Steve
