Default Miami boat show hotel

Anyone have any suggestions on reasonably priced hotels for the Miami Boat Show. Have stayed at a few different ones on Collins and have had NO good luck, need help. Would like to be within walking distance of Convention Center.

The Shelborne is a pretty good bet and does not break the bank.

Back when we were ate up with it we always stayed at the Riu. (I know their prices used to be unreal, but steadily climbed over the years.) The pool and poolside bar is very nice! And the upgrade for an oceanfront room with balcony seating is well worth it...for those after party cocktails!

Shoot for Ocean Dr. - the Art Deco district. I think you'll find all those to be more reasonable than the big ones up on Collins. I always stay at the Park Central when I go down, great hotel and great location for the show.

Of course, another well-kept secret, if you like cuban food, hit Puerto Sagua on the corner of Collins and 6th. It is the real-deal-holyfield!!

We stayed at the Marriot the night before the boat show run last year and I liked it. We were way up near the top and wow what a view.
