Got down to 4 here, but I didn't stay up to find out when.

It's warmed up to a scorching 10 right now.
Steve

flenner 01-10-2010 08:09 AM

Got down to 5 at my house. Thats cold enough for me! Four water mains broke in downtown Nashville and all the Bars, restaurants and shops had to close down. Feel sorry for the people that came for the boat show and fun. Haggin and the Geico crew were her with the race boat.

Macklin 01-10-2010 08:12 AM

5 degrees in Nashville? OMG! I feel lucky. Only went down to 25 here.

Does that qualify for an AT tshirt?

509 SC 01-10-2010 08:20 AM

Looks like Griff might be the winner from the land of Warren Buffet! Steve

boatfreak 01-10-2010 08:22 AM

cosmic12 01-10-2010 09:13 AM

While I am not an owner anymore and I believe Pat said owners and I can't post any pics here I just thought I would let you know that last night we were at -6 and at this time today 10:12 we are at -9 and we have had 17 days of snow but today it seams as though its to damm cold to snow.

Has anyone told you lately..... WINTER SUCKS!!!!!

michigan troll 01-10-2010 09:20 AM

We only made it down to 11 this morning. We are heading out on the sleds later from the house. We have a little more than a foot of snow on the ground.

camptappakeg69 01-10-2010 09:30 AM

Damn couldnt stay up, but it was close to -6 when I last looked at 11:30. Dog didnt even want to go outside , think he's pissed off, the cat gets a box inside! Like Cosmic said plenty of snow too!

R Addiction 01-10-2010 10:14 AM

At least this cold and snow is good for something:evilb::evilb::evilb::evilb:

I've lived here all my life and can't remember a winter with this much snow and frigid temps. We have over 2 feet of snow on the ground and my kids have already had 5 snow days off school.

cosmic12 01-10-2010 01:25 PM

2ft, thats all?????
We had that much 3 weeks ago and its still come'n

I give up, now it won't let me edit or delet a post:angry-smiley-038:

Griff 01-10-2010 02:39 PM

Its not the 2 feet of snow, its the 5 feet on the sides of my driveway and 8 foot tall piles on every corner that you can't see around when driving. Usually we get some relief that melts it down some and it we don't get 10 inches at a time within a couple weeks of each other. Its all what you are used and we don't normally get stuff like this. At least not in December and early January. I think the city of Omaha has already used half their snow removal budget for 2010.

Macklin 01-10-2010 03:08 PM

So who won the sweats?

I'm sure Pat kept them for himself and is wearing both of them as I type.

ActiveThunder 01-10-2010 03:56 PM

Well it looks like it was coldest was in Omaha, NE.

Everyone agree?

Griff, send me an e-mail at [email protected] with your address. We'll make sure you stay warm til spring.

I'm not sure how you do it! Negative anything would make me move. Heck it was 35 here this morning and I haven't left the house all day except to get some beer for the games. :drink:

Anyone up for an AT Jamaica trip?

We obviously can't travel to Southern FL any longer as the temperature is now equal to Massachusetts in March.

Who's got some Island contacts??

:boat:

Thanks very much. Email sent.
I guess its all what you get used to. It has been very cold here, even for us. The low and high temps have been about 20* below normal for several weeks. It warmed up to around 25* today and it actually felt comfortable. Heck, it was 20* warmer than yesterday. I still hate winter here, but it gives me time to save $$ for Summer. Not to worry either, the AT is kept in my 50* heated garage:D

ICDEDPPL 01-11-2010 07:40 PM

^^^^ Sweeeeeet!

Sydwayz 01-11-2010 08:22 PM

I've made the drive from VA to Chicago many times, including towing my 37AT. It's not a bad drive at all.

BoatFreak ought to be coming with his 37AT from Indy, and maybe you guys can caravan.

Congrats Scott!!! you can keep the cold up there. Unfortunately, it has been plenty cold in STL and LOTO. We actually got to -6 in STL on Sunday Morning. I think the last time it got below 0 here was some time in the 1990's and LOTO was awfully frozen this past weekend as well.
