How cold is it??

I've got a pair of Active Thunder sweatshirts sitting in a FedEx box for whichever Active Thunder owner has the lowest temperature on Saturday January 9 at Midnight.

Now you have a reason to look forward to a cold winter's night!

Gladhe8er 01-04-2010 12:19 PM

I'll be at my house in Lake George, NY(Adirondack Mountains). I may have a shot.

rchevelle71 01-04-2010 12:24 PM

Griff 01-04-2010 12:31 PM

Its 0* here right now. Had -14* the other night and -6* was the low last night. Its supposed to continue like this for a while.

Now I think you should stipulate Pat that the person has to be up at midnight and post a pic of the temp!

Good idea midnight pic of outside temp.

REMEDY 01-04-2010 07:17 PM

Bren wants to know if she poses in a bikini next to the thermometer outside if we get extra points?!!

Central Pa gets pretty cold but maybe not as bad as OCD's neighborhood!

What cold?

It's 68 in my house...well, maybe 66.

Do former owners qualify?

509 SC 01-04-2010 09:27 PM

Can future owners participate too? I'll just hit the thermometer probe with some liquid nitrogen and snap the picture for those sweatshirts! We all know these contests are rigged anyhow, its all a sales promotion :drink: Steve

Just buy an AT from Pat and I'm sure he'll throw in the sweatshirts.

mikebrls 01-05-2010 02:16 PM

i don't know how some of you guy's do it up north becuase it's only about 60 degree's here in south florida today and for us this is cold .
if i lived up north i think i would have to stay next to the fire place or wood stove all day long and have my computer and lazy boy couch right next to it

:) :) :)

wish you guy's all the best and remember KEEP WARM ....

MIKE

Chris 01-05-2010 03:09 PM

12 degrees - but i dont own an AT anymore

Gladhe8er 01-05-2010 03:34 PM

I'm probably going to be out of the running. Will be in SW CT instead of the Adirondacks on Saturday...

flenner 01-05-2010 04:43 PM

You guys up north will definitely win this one but, last night here in Smyrna, TN it was 9 degrees. Thats pretty cold for us and it's suppose to get worse by the end of the week. How bought a sweatshirt Pat?

camptappakeg69 01-05-2010 07:12 PM

Hope I remember to look at the temp on saturday, how about some for the most snow? got about 42" since new years!

ACTIVESHACK 01-05-2010 07:51 PM

I should have stayed in Aspen :angry-smiley-044:

You don't need a sales promo to sell an AT .....just a ride!;)

Griff 01-06-2010 02:01 AM

We are supposed to be warming up a little by the weekend. Our predicted high temp on Saturday is 9*:evilb:

If you're at 6* on Saturday I'm 100 miles north, I should win this easy! And lake effect may help this time with snow totals but it hinders "Low" temperatures! :grinser010: Steve

Calling for a low of 5, lets go cold front.

Jassman 01-09-2010 07:46 AM

19.2 WTF I'm moving to Pompano

boatfreak 01-09-2010 07:58 AM

They are calling for 0 here tonight. See you guys at midnight.

rssteiny 01-09-2010 08:02 AM

Calling for 6 here :grinser010: winter

Just saw the weather...it will be near freezing there tonight!

509 SC 01-09-2010 09:54 AM

We were at 1* all last night. Pat, if you want to send my sweatshirts now, I'll need an XL & M. No need in keeping the "older" men up till midnight! :drink: Steve

Thunderstruck 01-09-2010 10:03 AM

I think setting a record low last night at 21F for Lake Charles LA should qualify. Previous record was 22F set in 1963. :grinser010:

We actually have icicles and that's a no sh*****.

Thunderstruck 01-09-2010 10:11 AM

AND BTW, I believe we Southerners are being discriminated against. We are thermodynamically challenged and that should be taken into account with a more fair formula to calculate a "low" temperature prevent us from becoming disenfranchised during the selection process.

I mean what is the definition of low??

:lolhit:

That's Celsius for temperatures, Real Men use the Fahrenheit scale :grinser010:! I was sledding in Ontario 3 years ago and we pulled into Hearst, the temp was -35 Celsius, talk about cold! They were jump starting a Yamaha (4 stroke) with a pick-up truck! Talk about a short boating season. Steve
