Good day for a Poker Run in South Louisiana. Bunch of boats showed up for a good time. Ponchartrain had a light chop which made for a great, easy ride. We made all the stops and had 187 miles on the GPS. Of course the Thunder made the run flawlessly. (However, blew a trailer tire bucking 4-6 footers on our beautiful LA expressways.)
Smoked a Cigarette (38 Top Gun non-step) and a step 38' Fountain and various other boats. Stayed away from the 97 mph PowerPlay w/ twin 572's, I'll leave him for you 37' Step hulled Eikert boys. Got waxed by a couple of cats but so what.
There were 2 other 32' Thunders there, a Thunder cat and a 37' non-step Thunder so we had a good showing.
Jassman, where were you? Did you make the run? We missed you man!!!

Thunderstruck,
Sounds like y'all had a great run, wish I could have made it out there. I was wondering what the Cig you outran looked like or if it had a name on it. Know a couple guys that have them and would love to pick on one of them about being outrun by an A.T.

Thunderstruck, I wish I could have made it but my ride, The Total Marine and Performance guys, were still trying to finish their boats, an older Cigarette 31 Bullet and a new 30 Phantom. They couldn't get it ready in time but said they might make the second or third card with at least one of the boats, they said: customers boats come first. I wish I could have gone, it would have been my first poker run in 4 years, but hopefully my boat will done by the Royal Purple run, see ya then
