A few questions about A/T
 How old is the company
 How many boats are produced per year
 Where did they get there start
 Stability of the company – going to stay in business? (warranty)

1) Pat has owned the company since 1994 I believe
2) 10-12 Boats per year- All custome made. No production boats
3) Chicago area, moved to Pompano in the mid to late 1990s
4) Strong overall stability of the ownership and comitment to custom high pro boat building

I build a good boat. It won't fall apart with your wife and kids aboard 5 miles off shore. The balance of your questions are moot if you are buying preowned.

Tell us what boat you found and we will be glad to advise you if you should buy it.

It's a pretty impressive way that you run that company of yours Pat. Rare indeed.

I might be looking at a job down in Pompano this year, early next year, I'll have to make sure to see your operation.

For what its worth in my opinion,the small custom builders like A/T and others that sell direct for the most part are the only ones that have a chance.The larger companies lack the ability to run with a small overhead.

Definitely need to take one of the test rides with Pat! He'll do his best to make sure that you won't meet any sharks that day :) (Am I remembering that quote right Pat!) Guess I was one of those nervous housewives that didn't want to get tossed riding in some other boat! AT was the best! Gotta get the old man back into a boat. He's driving me crazy!

Wife and I second the test ride, she still has a smile from that day.
