25 Tantrum in classifieds

Does anyone happen to know anything about the 25 Tantrum in the classifieds?

http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o36977-en.html

Its been up there a while and keeps catching my eye.

Griff 02-10-2011 12:00 PM

It belongs to member ICDEDPPL

Magic Medicine 02-10-2011 12:38 PM

Like Griff said its ICDEDPPL boat. Its a local boat for me, see it most everyweek. The boat is clean as a whistle, well maintained and fast as hell. What else would u like to know??? The boat has not been for sale very long at all.

sleev-les 02-10-2011 05:50 PM

I've seen it posted a couple times and he's got a hell of a price (in a good way)... Just was curious if anyone on here could vouch for a clean, well maintained boat since some of you guys know each other. Im going to be in the market as soon as my taxes are done and this one is at the top of my list...

rlj676 02-10-2011 07:20 PM

Very cool boat. I'd think there's some pics out there that'd help it sell faster......:party-smiley-004:

ICDEDPPL 02-10-2011 08:55 PM

Which pics would those be?:lolhit:

Yes that`s my boat, if you have any question or want to see it let me know.
I recently lowered the price since I found my next boat and don`t want it to get sold before I can buy it:drink:

Just seen a few pics around.:evilb:

Damn, the price looks good! I'm trying to talk my buddy into it (I don't think he'll sign up for the overall costs of a boat though, cheap bastard haha). If it doesn't move FAST now nothing will.

If you come across anyone that wants it but with a HP 500 rather than the 600 SC I might know where they can trade straight up....you know, so they can save on insurance.:party-smiley-004:

Sounds great! I think people are getting ready for summer i`ve had some promising calls this week.

What's the next boat?
I don`t want to jinx it:drink:
It won`t accelerate or go as fast as this thou thats for sure.
Crazy what cabin fever does to people, when I put it away I had no intention of selling it, this was going to be my boat for a long time, what the heck happened lol

Agreed.:drink:

Sleev-less I'd put a deposit down pending survey/sea trial or something to make sure it doesn't get bought out if it'll be a while before you see it.

I just sold my vette for a "move it now" price and spoke with a few guys who went to get their ducks in a row..... and lost the car when one guy called and put it under deposit.

He's already got my deposit and I'm picking up the loan payment from the bank tomorrow. Survey is on the 25th so not too far off, but since I have a little drive ahead of me, I wanted to get a friend to ride with me and help split the driving a bit.

ICDEDPPL 02-13-2011 06:53 PM

I had someone else who was getting a loan and measuring his garage for it etc... but since there was no deposit Sleevless stole it from under that guy.

I don't like to mess around.. :drink:

Ironmanwb 02-13-2011 07:35 PM

I just did the same thing on the boat I bought. Lots of people interested so I put a deposit on it and then bought it.

sleev-les 02-13-2011 07:42 PM

Everything I've ever sold I asked for a deposit otherwise I wasn't holding it for anyone...

Just moved up to this weekend to go see it and take care of everything..... Now I just need warmth lol

Magic Medicine 02-14-2011 12:59 PM

Congrats to Dan and sleev-les.

sleev-les 02-14-2011 04:07 PM

Thanks Magic.... Mother nature is teasing me. It's 65 here today and going to be warm the rest of the week. When I bring the boat back, its going to get colder again lol...

When something is priced right, you have to be decisive and offer the deposit! Congrats guys.

I've seen this both buying and selling.

Thanks rlj676.....

....Buying and selling is a hell of a market, especially private sale. I've got my share of stories being the seller and the buyer lol....

500

Congrats Sleev-les!!Your gonna love it. I got mine this time of year, a few years ago, 14 hour ride one way. When I got back it was close to 70* so we went for a ride.
You should check out http://www.marylandpowerboatclub.com if you haven't allready they put on a few fun runs each year, It would be awsome to run with another Tantrum, especially that one. Where do plan on doing most of your boating?

I'll def check out the site..

I'm going to keep the boat on the Magothy River. I like Dobbins and Hartmiller Island as far as hang out spots. I don't really have any other particular spots I go... Im up for anything and anywhere.

Sleev-less, We need to get together this summer. We come out of the Susquehanna and run all over the upper bay. I'm thinking of a Tantrum Raft up. Lloyd Creek off the Sassafrass is a good place, or Jellyfish Joels. Hell the wife and I are all about staying in Annapolis for a weekend. Good luck with trip. Look for us out on the bay this summer.

That will be a good time. We definitely will have to get together.

I'm going to go to some of the bigger events this year too. Bumper bash anad Aqualpalooza.. Do you ever get out to those?

R Addiction 02-16-2011 09:42 AM

Never been to them. The Hap Hazzard fun run in August is a good time. Low key but a great bunch of people. We have almost weekly raft ups inside of Still Pond and Lloyd Creek. Been to the back side of Hart Miller. Nice place except for all the wave action. Not a good place to have a raft up. We'll be in touch.

ICDEDPPL 02-16-2011 09:56 AM

Oh sweet, I`m sending my boat to meet its brother!:evilb:

I'll keep you guys posted on Bumper Bash too.. It usually the same week as my birthday in July so I celebrate at it every year... I get there early so the outer boats stop all the wake and we stay in the smooth.....

paulb32 02-16-2011 11:03 PM

So did all go well today for both?
Sleev_less I feel for your drive. I went from Chicago to Richmond, VA and back in 2 days to get my 36' boat, 1700 miles, all alone. And alot of fuel.....

I've ran with Dan a bit too and it's a sweet boat very well cared for. You'll love it. Just maintain that blue motor nice and it will treat you well. Live for the blower, drive, motor oil changes!

I start the drive in about 30 minutes.. I'm a very particular person... I'm always making sure things are above par.. During the winter, I go out about once a week to wipe down my bike sitting in the garage to keep it clean and change all the fluids every spring lol...

Everything went really well. I have a few pics on my facebook page right now. I plan on getting some on here as it warms up a bit and can actually get out to do a couple things I have planned for her :)

Great! Hope to see you around Dubbins Island in the Spring.

sleev-les 02-24-2011 11:46 AM

I will be at Dobbins a lot.. I also go around the corner to Sillery bay when Dobbins gets a little too rough and I want some calm lol...

modvp 02-24-2011 11:53 AM

The Tantrum is a very nice boat indeed. I usually launch at Sandy Point and head down to Mayo; but this year I will be staying around Dubbins, since the wife and kids find the trip to Mayo a bit on the rough side in the Velocity.

Here is a pic of the velocity at Dubbins last October (2010):
