Default Information on 37 excess

I'm starting to look around to upgrade and really know nothing about the Activethunder boats. Obviously I'm also looking at other brands in that 38' range to compare to the 37 Excess. Any input is very appreciated.

What kind of info do you want? The cheerleaders will chime in shortly.

Are you looking new or pre-owned? If pre-owned, what is your budget? How fast do you want to go? What kind of water do you boat in? (rough/flat/salt/fresh) Do you want to overnight? Do you have kids? Do you swim off the back of the boat?

Let me give you the bad news first: Pat builds outstanding boats that don't break, they run like a bat out of hell, they look great, the freeboard comes up to your armpits, the cabins are full featured and gorgeous, the AVH single step hull is fuel efficient, you can get anything you want as long as you pay for it, they handle snotty water like no other boat, the cockpit is spacious, you can get either center or side cabin access, and they are priced right!! Now for the Good news...you can order one today and mabye Pat will pay his old Salesman a commission!! lol With all honesty...if you want to stand out in the crowd and have a truely limited custom built boat, Active Thunder is the way to go!

Please allow me to put my 02ct. in the pot.. After owning many boats in the 38 foot range. The boats are AWESOME, excellent build quality, rigging is first rate. no wires hanging every down everywhere, fit is nice and interior is well made, also you feel very safe in the boat at high speed. it dont do anything crazy and rides pretty flat.. rough water is where it really shines.. The cabin is a work of art. the head is huge and actually usable.. very nice lighting as well. I have looked over every inch of mine and I can tell you they are no short cuts in the building of these boats. As far as im concerned their is nothing out their in this price range (or even tens of thousands more) just dont be looking to buy mine now because it would take a lot for me to part with it as this point.. I truly love this boat.. It does it all well!!!

That 2008 in the classifieds is a steal for 140K and less than 100 hours on the 525's!
