I was really surprised at how well my F150 pulled. I have a 2002 F150 Super Crew 4x4 with the 5.4 in it but I also have 3:55 gears, better for mileage but not great for towing. It takes a bit to get it moving and barks a bit going up larger bridges and inclines, but once moving I can tow at 70 mph with no problem.

Thats the only difference from mine. I have the 3:73's and it def held its own for the most part.. Peddle to the floor up steep hills though...

I tow with a 2000 Classic (old body style) GMC K2500 Sierra. 454/Auto with 3:73 gear and 285/16 Terra Grapplers. Does well towing and pulls down 9.5-10 mpg with or without the AC on.

No windscreen on mine but I don't know if I will have the speed to blow any tops off............guess I will just have to get them in the rough and bounce them out or just get them drunk and ask.

Those pics looked really clean so unless that guy is a great photoshopper, I think you'll be good. Where is it at?

Nice looking tow vehicle, you should be happy with that. Did you run across any other clean Excursions, 2005 models? Have a friend looking for one.
