I saw a 2000 for sale in an add at Tanglewood marine.

It was listed at 72K in the fall.

That means Excess will offer you like 42K

A Merc 700sci engine and drive only package Retails for over $90K if you get a deal on one your still at $70K. My suggestion is, if you can find a 28' with any blue engine for alot less, Buy it. Good Luck

the good and bad about used boat's is that there only worth what some one is willing to pay .
anyone can ask what they want for a boat , the question is do they want to sell it ?
and of course everyone that's owned any boat know's that once you buy it you will loose a lot of money that's just a fact about boat's .
ex,
there's nice looking 2008 37 for sale that's a few year's old , asking price is $ 140 k , this boat is Priced To Sell " just my thought "
and don't want to insult anyone but if you have had your boat for sell @ a high price and no one has bought it yet that's letting you know that you have to drop the price if you want to sell it :)
i see some boat's listed for year's that don't sell " why " because the owner's think there boat is worth more then it is or they owe to much on the note to sell it and don't want to come out of pocket with cash , either way it will cost you to keep a boat because every year the price drop's and every month you make a payment, insurance , storage , ect, so it just depend's on when that owner want's to take his or her loss , now or later it will happen unless you go boatless

Wonder what bam would charge for a 700......that would make a tantrum cry.

a few year's ago i got OEM pricing on the 525 ,600 and 700 package's , and they where under this " in order " $ 35k,$45,$55k so as you can see someone can sell you the package's and make some quick $$ for a drop ship where all they have to do is place an order and transfer fund's if they want .
it's all in who you no :)

Don't worry I think ATs are great boats, wouldn't mind getting into a 37 for the right price... they are definitely on my radar. Just bustin' balls to keep the entertainment up during the cold...
